The Day After Tomorrow

Although I don’t think that storms as big as in The Day After Tomorrow could ever happen, the Bible does predict that storms will become increasingly more, and worse. I do think that global warming is occuring to a certain point, just because of the Second Law of Thermmodynamics (come on you guys, it hasn’t been that long since you’ve been out of school: For every process, there is an overall loss of useful energy and a tendency toward greater disorder. In other words, the universe is slowly “running down”.). Also, the Bible agrees with this in Psalm 102:25-26 In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you will remain; they will wear out like a garment. Like clothing you will change them and they will be discarded., Isiah 51:6a Lift up your eyes to the heavens, look at the earth beneath; the heavens will vanish like smoke, the earth will wear out like a garment…,and Hebrews 1:10-12 He also says, In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you will remain; they will wear out like a garment. Like clothing you will change them and they will be discarded..
I don’t think that we can blame Bush for this problem; even though it is what the world likes to do. After all, one man can not pollute the whole world, and neither can he stop the whole world from polluting. Maybe it is a good thing that gas prices are going up, because people are buying and using less gas, so there is less global warming.
