Wow. We invited some friends of the family (Bonnie and Lee) to eat Thanksgiving Dinner with us, and this afternoon Lee died. He was bowling with Bonnie, like they do every Tuesday, and he had a heart attack. They helicoptered him up to Scottsdale, to a heart specialist, but it didn’t work. What can we say to Bonnie? “Yeah, have a happy Thanksgiving.” *bites lip*
Alright, fellow Arizona Republic readers. Who reads the back page of the “Valley & State” section? With Clay Thompson? Anyways, to all of you who don’t receive this newspaper, Clay Thompson, in his column “Valley 101″ explains answers to questions that people might have about how things work. Like today’s question was, “How come when you burn logs, it makes noise?” Maybe I should start a blog devoted to that kind of stuff. I bet it would get a lot of traffic. Uh-oh, I can smell my rice!
I love the screen saver that came with the computer. It is goldfish, swimming around, and a plus is they don’t eat each other! (like my fish do) Visit http://www.prolific.com/ to see what I’m talking about.
I’m so happy. I am now writing from my house, for the first time in weeks, because today my dad went out and bought a new computer (along with a new 19″LCD monitor, and printer/scanner/photo reproducer). It’s great. It’s a Sony Vaio, and pretty soon we will be getting a cable internet connection. No more satellite; it’s Cox from here on out! I suppose that I will be posting a lot more, since I will just be able to do a little surfing off and on all day. Fun, Fun!
My computer is gay because:
- It can become connected, but nothing will load on the browser
- There is no way that I will be able to participate in NaNoWriMo any time soon
- I was looking forward to NaNoWriMo
- It just is
So now I’m using my grandparent’s PC. hmm. I wish we had an internet cafe near me. That would be fun.
