Lessons on Changing a Fish Tank
I should have learned my lesson a looong time ago. Fish hate coffee mugs. Fish also happen to be pretty stupid. I cleaned my aquarium like I do about every 4th Sunday. It was morphing into an unwanted science expieriment. Anyways, I put the 3 fish ( I would have had more if they would have stopped eating each other) each in their own mug and proceeded to clean. I also learned to put a towel over the mugs because if they try to jump out, they hit the towel. I learned this from experiance. I have had a fish die from jumping out and me not saving him in time.
I came back upstairs with the pristine tank, and glanced in the mugs. Horrors, Horrors! Pinkie and Stripie I were gone. I looked on the ground. There was Stripie I, but where was Pinkie? I looked around frantically, and I found that Pinkie had flopped himself under my desk. Like, really far under my desk. I threw Pinkie back into the mug, but to my dismay he did not survive the episode. Stripie II was the smart one. He stayed in his mug with the carnivorous snail.
The good new is: Stripie I is fully recovered from the accident and is back to the same antics of trying to bite Stripie II. He-Is-So-Huge (The snail. He never got named, but that is what everyone calls him.) is fine. After consuming 3 fish, and the majority of the fish food, he added several millimeters to his shell and is back in business.

Haha, that’s awesome… I remember my fish always jumped out when I used to have fish, whenever I cleaned the tank. We found one on the floor and were like “ohh…” Sorry about Pinkie. :(
God bless!
