St. Patrick’s Day Limericks

In Arizona things are different
Green on St. Patty’s is an amazement
There’s brown all around
Green is not to be found
If you see green it’s from an ailment.

Ok that was lame, so here’s another try.

America does not have its own holiday
So we take all of our holidays from far away
Except for the Fourth of July
And celebrating apple pie
We’ll take every excuse for no work anyways.

That was a little better. Maybe I’ll give it one last try.

Ale, cabbage, and corn beef
Roman Catholic belief
A kilt of plaid
A golfing lad
All are Irish motif.

I should have stopped at the second one. Oh well. Happy St. Patrick’s Day to ye all!
