Home schooled kids like to avoid the yellow school bus mentality of needing someone else to determine where they are going and how they are going to get there. Generally, the only questions in their minds would be how many are going to follow them to their chosen destination, and how to work to organize them into a cohesive group. They are weird if you compare them to the group think kids from public school, but I prefer to think of them as prophetic. Just tell yourself, "I am prophetic."

I like the new look -- I've always been a fan of 'clean' layouts.

I'm also a fan of the way you wrote this post. It's like story-time with Alisa!
