Bel Auburn is my new favorite Indie Band. They’re from Ohio. There isn’t much else to say about them, except they’ve been playing together for about 3 years. To quote from their biography:
“We love music, and love people who love music. We try to write good songs, and then play out as much as we can and sing them for good people. No frills, no ego, no hyperbole. Just a show and some songs that we hope you enjoy.”
Well, I’ve enjoyed their music, and I’m sure you will too.

Zwan, made up of Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins), Matt Sweeny (Chavez, Skunk, and some other bands), David Pajo (Slint, Papa M, and some other bands), Paz Lenchantin (most notably A Perfect Circle, but he also played in some other bands), and Jimmy Chamberlin (Smashing Pumpkins), was formed in 2001. They broke up in 2003. It was short-lived, but they made some really great music. The only album they produced was “Mary Star of the Sea” and it sounded like a happy, early version of the Smashing Pumpkins.
Good news, my friends. I will not have to tell you anymore about how Zwan sounds like. You can listen for yourself.
